Why is "Xan" vodka better than many Russian brands?
Famous Russian technologist Nadezhda Samokhina develops the recipe for "Xan" vodka.
Göygöl Şərab Zavodu, which produces under the "Xan 1860" trademark, has identified the production of high-quality alcoholic beverages as one of its key priorities. As a result, the company's products, including vodka, wine, champagne, and brandy, have been awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals at prestigious international competitions. Certainly, "Xan1860" vodka has the potential to successfully compete with vodkas imported from Russia and other countries due to the following arguments:
One argument is the involvement of Nadezhda Samokhina, a renowned Russian technologist, in the production of "Xan" vodka. She has previously worked at major Russian alcohol production facilities such as "Kristall," "Russian Blend Factory," and "Almeko," and has participated in the establishment of several vodka production plants in Russia. This experience is actively utilized by the company, and Nadezhda Samokhina is the first highly qualified foreign specialist brought into the production process. She highly evaluates the plant's technical equipment, personnel level, and production capacity, noting that "Xan1860" vodka has the potential to compete with global brands in terms of taste and quality.
Another reason for the high quality of "Xan1860" vodka is that the company produces its own ethyl alcohol for its products.
"Göygöl Spirit" LLC, the largest ethyl alcohol production facility in the country, is the supplier of alcohol for "Xan1860" vodka. Ethyl alcohol is produced here using modern automated equipment that meets the latest technologies, with all processes controlled by computers. The modern spirit production plant, with a daily capacity of 30,000 liters, produces ethyl alcohols of "Lux" and "Alpha" grades, creating conditions for producing high-quality vodka.
The ethyl alcohol used in "Xan1860" vodka is free from aldehydes. Since aldehydes can cause alcohol dependency in consumers, their levels are maintained at zero. The company’s spirit contains half the normal amount of fusel oils, which prevents any bitterness in the vodka's taste.
The alcohol for "Xan1860" vodka is made exclusively from wheat.
Genetically modified wheat varieties are not used in the production of alcohol; only high-quality 4th-grade wheat is employed. The company’s 2-hectare site includes an elevator complex with storage capacity for 8,000 tons of wheat. Wheat from this complex is regularly transported to the alcohol production facility for the production of high-quality spirit.
The production process of vodka at Göygöl Şərab Zavodu is strictly controlled.
All production processes are monitored by qualified specialists in laboratories. The company closely oversees the preservation of the physiological active substances, nutritional, and organoleptic properties of raw materials, as well as adherence to sanitary and hygiene standards during raw material selection. To ensure the high quality of "Xan1860" products, laboratory analyses at all stages of production are conducted using modern equipment and computer technologies from leading European companies. The products are tested using a laser analyzer, installed at only a few enterprises in the CIS. This device operates without chemical reagents and can determine 24 parameters of wine or grape juice with maximum precision in one minute. In standard laboratories, such analyses usually take more than two weeks.
Göygöl Şərab Zavodu is the only local company that sells vodka under the "Xan1860" brand at prices ranging from 50 to 60 manats on the domestic market shelves and has gained a customer base. This fact proves that the vodka produced by the plant surpasses in quality the vodka imported from Russia and other countries.
Göygöl Şərab Zavodu was established on September 16, 2005. Currently, the company’s products are sold in major supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants in the domestic market and are also exported to various countries. The main export destinations for the company are Russia, Belarus, the Philippines, Poland, and leading companies in China.
