Sommelier from Kazakhstan visited the Goygol Wine Plant.
On January 11, sommelier Anastasia Naumetskaya from Kazakhstan visited the Goygol Wine Plant. Accompanied by the chief winemaker Rasim Omarov, she toured the factory, familiarized herself with the production process, and conducted a tasting of a wide range of wines.
"I was very impressed by the refined and aromatic white wines, as well as the well-balanced and harmonious red wines produced here," Anastasia remarked, expressing her admiration for the quality of the wines. She also emphasized her high regard for the ancient traditions and history of winemaking in Azerbaijan, especially at the Goygol Wine Plant: "Azerbaijan has a rich grape-growing and winemaking heritage, and I believe that Azerbaijani wines have significant potential in international markets."
The Goygol Wine Plant is always ready to welcome wine professionals to introduce them to the factory's operations, the production process, and to offer tastings of various products.
It is worth noting that the Goygol Wine Plant, with a history of over 160 years, is one of the oldest producers of alcoholic beverages in Azerbaijan. The factory's products under the "Khan 1860" brand, particularly the renowned "Karabakh" wines known for their exquisite flavors and characteristics, are exported to various countries and have received numerous prestigious international awards and certifications.
