Göygöl Wine Plant participated in the III National Meadow Festival.
From July 5 to 7, the III National Meadow Festival took place in the Göygöl region, organized by the Javad Khan Historical and Cultural Foundation and the Kap.az tourism company, with support from the State Tourism Agency, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), the World Ethnosport Confederation, the Ganja City Administration, the Göygöl District Executive Authority, the State Employment Agency, and KOBIA.
The festival consisted of three parts: a cultural-ethnographic segment, national summer (sports) games, and eco-ethno tourism. In "Xan yaylağı," an ethnovillage called "Yaylaq yurdu" was created in an original style, featuring not only residential houses but also thematic areas such as the Djidir Square, "Yaylaq Bazaar," "Crafts Section," "Dede Korkut Hearth," "Hero’s Square," "Ashug Alaskar Hearth," "Yaylaq Table," and others.
Göygöl Wine Factory also participated in the festival, showcasing high-quality natural wines, vodka, cognac, and champagne made with modern technology. Festival guests had the opportunity to enjoy the rich flavors of the wines and receive detailed information about winemaking, the subtleties of choosing the ideal wine for different dishes, and the production process.
It is worth noting that Göygöl Wine Factory, with over 160 years of history, is one of the oldest and largest alcoholic beverage producers in Azerbaijan. Founded by German Swabians in 1860, the factory, under the "Xan 1860" brand, produces vodka, wines, cognac, and champagne, which have received numerous prestigious international awards and certificates.
